All about Lizzie...

Lizzie Wallace is a successful Preschool Leader with over 20 years experience in early years childcare. Whilst still involved in the running of three successful pre-schools in Croydon, Lizzie's passion for storytelling has led her to start writing her own childrens books.

Lizzie's first book, entitled "My Sister's Turning into a Monster", is proving very popular with kids on the many local author visits and book signings that Lizzie regularly performs.

Her most recent book, "Sam the Baker", tells the story of a very talented but very shy baker with a bit of a crush!

Lizzie lives in Croydon, Surrey with her husband John, their two children and the whole family love to read and have been an inspiration for Lizzie's books. Lizzie also enjoys baking, dog walking and making things. During the week Lizzie supervises three preschool groups as well as working closely with the families from the groups. She also does volunteer work at her children’s school.

Illustrations

Rebecca Webber is responsible for the fantastic illustrations in Lizzie's first two books. She is a qualified primary school teacher with 7 years experience and lives in Croydon with her husband Andy and their two children.

For her latest book, The Farmies, Lizzie asked her very talented niece, Joanne, to draw some illustrations. Joanne did a fantastic job and really brought the stories in the book to life. Myrtle the Turtle is our favourite!
